GETTING TO MAYNOOTH
RAIL: Maynooth lies on the Western Suburban railway line which serves three city centre stations (Pearse Station, Tara Street and Connolly Station) and the following suburban stations: Drumcondra, Broombridge, Ashtown, Phoenix Park, Castleknock, Coolmine, Clonsilla, Leixlip Coffey and Leixlip Louisa Bridge. For times and prices, see the Irish Rail website.
BUS: Maynooth is served by two Dublin Bus routes, the 66 and the 67. Both depart from Pearse Steet in Dublin City Centre and run frequent services to Maynooth. There is also a 66x express service to and from Maynooth. To get further information on these routes, including price and times, please visit the Dublin Bus website. These buses do not operate late at night; however, Maynooth is connected to Dublin via the Nitelink bus service.
CAR: Travelling to Maynooth by car from Dublin, take the N4/M4 heading west out of the city and leave the M4 at Exit 7. Travelling from the airport, follow signs for the M50 (southbound), leave the M50 at Junction 7 (signposted Galway, Sligo & Westport) and join the N4.M4, continuing to Exit 7 (Maynooth).
PARKING: The university operates a permit parking system and vehicles that park in the zoned areas without an appropriate permit (available to staff and students) are liable to be clamped. A pay and display car park is available on the North Campus near Iontas. Enter the North Campus and follow the one-way system. The pay and display car park is at the back of the campus beside the sports pitches close to the rear entrance to Iontas.
